Buxco systems are equipped with transducers, sensors, and probes that collect signals for analysis.

Transducers for Nasal, Thoracic, and Box Flow

TRD5700

Strain gauge flow transducer designed to fit Buxco plethysmographs. This transducer is used with most Buxco pulmonary systems. Rigid aluminum case is durable and shield from interference. DIN connector for use with MAX2270, MAX2275, MAX2285, and MAX2295 preamplifier cards.

TRD5715

Similar to TRD5700 above. Modified for attachment to our TRD5716 temperature and humidity probe. Used with MAX2275 advanced preamplifier card.

Transducers for Airway Pressure

TRD4510

Transducer senses pressure changes relative to a reference. This transducer is used for measuring mouth pressure and/or esophageal pressure. One side is designed for wet (water coupled) applications. DIN connector for use with MAX2270, MAX2275, and MAX2285 preamplifier cards.

TRD30XX

For some applications, Validyne transducers are specified. Validyne transducers have a stainless steel housing and replaceable diaphragm. They are available in various pressure ranges and are available from Buxco. Use with our MAX2215 preamplifier card.

Transducers for Blood Pressure or Esophageal Pressure

TRD0114
This transducer is designed for wet (coupled) applications. Luer connections make this transducer easy to install and prepare for use. For use with MAX2270 or MAX2275 preamplifier cards.

Sensors for Temperature and Humidity

TRD5716
Temperature and humidity sensors built into a single probe. Designed for insertion in Buxco's PLY4200 series unrestrained whole body plethysmographs. Use in conjunction with flow transducer TRD5715 and advanced preamplifier card MAX2275.

Specialty sensors

We offer a number of specialty third-party sensors, probes and transducers for measuring blood flow, segment length, left ventricular pressure, tension (isolated organ), and others.
