Buxco's digital rodent ventilator is a compact and versatile respiration pump for ventilating anesthetized subjects. The digital front panel allows full-range adjustment of stroke volume, peak pressure, and breath frequency. Additional menu controls set PEEP and Ti : Te ratios. Tracheal and endotracheal tube options minimize deadspace and rebreathing concerns.
Volume or pressure control modes. The ventilator can be operated to deliver whatever pressure is required to reach a desired volume (Volume mode). It can also be operated to deliver whatever volume is required to reach a desired pressure (Pressure mode). Safety limits on volume and pressure prevent harm to the lung.
Multi-animal ventilation. In pressure control mode, multiple subjects can be ventilated simultaneously.
